Watchfinder & Co. to launch marketplace next year

Pre-owned watch specialist Watchfinder & Co. will be launching a marketplace in 2023 as it looks to give customers access to a wider selection of products.

Powered by Mirakl, the new offering will be launched in the UK in the spring then rolled out to key international markets such as the US, France, Germany and Switzerland.

Watchfinder said the marketplace will only include watch retailers that share its core values and stringent standards. All stock will be inspected and authenticated by Watchfinder’s team of watchmakers in their independent service centres and will come with a 24-month warranty.

Customers will also benefit from access to Watchfinder’s in-house watch expert and aftersales team, as well as its range of finance options and bespoke part exchange services.

Arjen van de Vall (pictured), chief executive of Watchfinder & Co., said: “Providing our customers with access to the widest selection of great quality pre-owned time pieces has always been our number one priority and launching our own marketplace allows us to bring even more choice to our customers whilst still maintaining the highest standards when it comes to product quality and customer experience.”

Watchfinder currently offers thousands of watches from more than 70 different luxury brand. These are all available online and via its network of private showrooms and boutiques across the UK, US, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy and Switzerland.

Founded in 2002, the company was acquired by luxury group Richemont in 2018.
