Watches of Switzerland Group appoints Chabi Nouri non-executive director
Watches of Switzerland Group has appointed Chabi Nouri as an independent non-executive director.
When taking up her role on 1 May, she will also become a member of the company’s ESG Committee.
Nouri is a former president and chief executive of the Piaget Swiss luxury watch brand and jeweller. After seven years with Piaget, she took on a strategic advisory role with the Richemont Group and is currently a private equity partner of Mirabaud and co-fund manager of the Mirabaud Lifestyle franchise. Her CV also includes various senior roles in the luxury sector spanning management, retail operations and marketing, including global head of jewellery, and head of retail operations at Cartier.
Brian Duffy, chief executive of Watches of Switzerland Group, said: “Chabi has outstanding luxury retail experience, particularly in the watch and jewellery sector, and we are delighted to welcome someone of her pedigree and expertise to the board. I am certain we will benefit greatly from her knowledge and perspective.”
The group has also announced two appointments within its senior management team. Craig Bolton, currently executive director, UK, has been appointed as president, Watches of Switzerland Group, UK and Europe. Meanwhile, David Hurley, currently the executive vice president, US, has been appointed as president, Watches of Switzerland Group, North America. In addition, Hurley has been named as deputy chief executive of the group.
