Watches of Switzerland appoints Bill Floydd as chief financial officer
Watches of Switzerland Group has named Bill Floydd as its new chief financial officer.
While his starting date has yet to be announced, Floydd will succeed Anders Romberg who is stepping down after seven years in the role and will leave after a suitable handover period.
Floydd will join be joining the business from The Rank Group where he has been working as chief financial officer since November 2018. Prior to that, he held the same role at Experian’s UK and Ireland business for over five years and contributed to strong revenue and EBIT growth while overseeing a range of M&A activity and teh company’s FCA authorisation process. His CV also includes a range of leadership positions at Logica.
Brian Duffy, chief executive of Watches of Switzerland, said: “I am delighted to welcome Bill as our incoming chief financial officer and look forward to working with him when he joins us. He brings a wealth of senior financial expertise and leadership qualities, and the group will benefit greatly from his experience.”
