VIVERE Partners with Refuge for International Women’s Day 2024
In a significant move to honour International Women’s Day 2024, the British womenswear brand VIVERE has announced a heartening collaboration with the UK-based charity Refuge.
This alliance is set to ignite hope and foster empowerment, shining a light on the pivotal issue of domestic abuse which plagues countless lives across the nation.
Refuge, renowned for its unwavering support for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence, will be the beneficiary of VIVERE’s latest initiative. From the 8th to the 10th of March 2024, VIVERE pledges to donate 25% of the retail price from every purchase made from their ‘The Tailoring Edit’ collection directly to Refuge. This contribution is anticipated to bolster the charity’s mission, providing essential services that enable survivors and their children to embark on a new chapter of life, free from fear and oppression.
Laura Corrigan-Conway, the Managing Director of VIVERE, expressed the brand’s enthusiasm for this partnership: “Vivere is incredibly proud to partner with Refuge this International Women’s Day. As a majority female team, empowering women is at the core of our values and we hope our support can help Refuge create meaningful change for survivors.”
In response, Louise Firth, Refuge’s director of fundraising, highlighted the significance of such collaborations: “Refuge is excited to be partnering with VIVERE this International Women’s Day and is incredibly grateful for the donation that we will be receiving from the sales of ‘The Tailoring Edit’. I would like to thank Vivere for their generosity, as without gifts like these, Refuge would not be able to continue to support women and children fleeing domestic abuse.”
The Tailoring Edit, a collection that embodies contemporary femininity with a blend of timeless elegance and practicality, will be available for purchase during this period. With its refined, versatile pieces, the collection is designed to transition seamlessly from day to night, work to leisure, epitomising the spirit of the modern woman.
As VIVERE aligns itself with such a crucial cause, it not only amplifies the voices of survivors but also reinforces its commitment to creating fashion that resonates with values of integrity and empowerment. Available both in-store and online, this initiative is a testament to how fashion can intersect with activism, driving positive change in society.
