VF Corporation makes new leadership appointments for Dickies and emerging brands

VF Corporation has announced a range of key leadership appointments at its Dickies, Altra, Smartwool and Icebreaker brands.

Todd Dalhausser, previously brand president of Altra, has taken up the role of global brand president of Dickies. In his new position, he will report to VF’s interim president and chief executive, Benno Dorer, and serve on the company’s executive leadership team.

Prior to joining VF in 2018, Dalhausser was senior vice president of sales for Saucony North America at Wolverine Worldwide and also managed Saucony/Hind’s apparel business. Earlier in his career, he held similar positions at Vans and Reebok.

In a second appointment, Jen McLaren, previously brand president of Smartwool, has been appointed as brand president of Altra and general manager for VF North America key accounts. In addition to overseeing Altra, she will be responsible for driving consistent strategic engagement with large wholesale customers on behalf of all VF brands.

McLaren has worked with VF since  2011 when the Smartwool and Timberland brands were acquired by VF. At the time, she was named as chief financial officer of Smartwool. Previously, she served as Timberland’s chief financial officer for North America. In her new role, she will continue to report to Martino Scabbia Guerrini, VF’s EVP and president of EMEA, APAC and emerging brands.

Meanwhile, Jan Van Mossevelde, president of Icebreaker, is assuming additional responsibility for the Smartwool brand.

Scabbia Guerrini said: “These appointments in our emerging brands platform demonstrate our focus on putting strong leaders in critical roles. We are committed to fuelling the momentum we have in our emerging brands and know that Jen and Jan are the right leaders with the right experience and capabilities to drive continued growth.
