VF Corporation director steps down
VF Corporation has announced that Veronica Wu has informed the company of her intension to step down from its board of directors with immediate effect.
She was appointed to the board in March of 2019.
In a statement, VF said Wu’s decision was not the result of any disagreement regarding its operations, policies or practices.
Wu launched venture capital company Hone Capital in 2015 and prior to that worked with Tesla Motors overseeing its China operations. Her CV also includes stints at Apple’s Education and Enterprise business in China and senior positions at Motorola and McKinsey & Company.
The news means that the VF Board has now been reduced from 12 members to 11 until a new director is appointed.
Founded in 1899, VF Corporation’s family of outdoor, active and workwear brands includes Vans, The North Face, Timberland and Dickies.
