VF Corporation completes acquisition of Supreme

VF Corporation, the owner of The North Face, Vans and Timberland, has completed its acquisition of the Supreme streetwear brand.

As a result, Supreme has become a wholly owned subsidiary of VF Corporation.

VF Corporation announced back in November that it would be acquiring the brand and that Supreme founder James Jebbia and the rest of the senior leadership team would continue to work with the business from its New York headquarters following the acquisition.

Supreme  is expected to contribute at least $500 million of revenue and $0.20 of adjusted EPS in VF Corporation’s 2022 financial year.

In a statement, VF Corporation said the purchase will accelerate its  “consumer-minded, retail-centric, hyper-digital” business model transformation and build on its long-standing relationship with Supreme, which has regularly collaborated with  Vans, The North Face and Timberland.
