VF Corporation appoints Caroline Brown to board
VF Corporation, the parent company of The North Face and Timberland, has appointed former Donna Karan chief executive Caroline Brown to its board.
With more than 30 years of experience at global brands in the fashion sector, she was previously managing director at the Closed Loop investment firm where she led the fashion practice.
Brown was chief executive of Donna Karan International from 2015 to 2017 during which time she led a transformation and the sale of the company from LVMH to G-III Apparel Group.
Prior to that, she was president of PUIG’s Carolina Herrera luxury fashion house and served as the US chief executive of Akris, a Swiss-based luxury fashion brand. Earlier in her career, she worked for over a decade with Giorgio Armani in marketing and communications leadership roles.
