Very launches new feature to help customers choose right size and fit

Very.co.uk has launched a new feature on its website to help customers find the right size and fit.

The feature allows shoppers to view over 80 Nike and Adidas products to see how they fit in real life on female models who are size 8, 14 or 18. If successful, it will also be launched on Very’s mobile app by the end of the year.

The retailer said the move will help it to promote size diversity and improve the customer experience. It also expects that customers using the feature will be less likely to return items as they will order fewer items in multiple sizes.

Sales of Very’s sportswear lines have almost tripled in the last five years and combined Nike and Adidas sales have increased by more than 200% in the period.

The retailer is now exploring options for scaling up the feature and rolling it out across all sportswear and fashion brands.

Sam Perkins, managing director of retail at The Very Group, said: “We sell a broad range of sizes across our sportswear and fashion ranges and want to do more to both embrace size diversity and give customers confidence in choosing the right size and fit, which they’ve told us loud and clear is a top priority.

“With the support of two of our biggest sportswear brand partners, the launch of our new feature is an important step forwards in delivering this aim.”
