Vashi to open Old Bond Street flagship
Jewellery brand Vashi is to open a new flagship store on the corner of Old Bond Street and Piccadilly in London in the spring of 2022.
As with the brand’s Covent Garden shop, the new space has been designed in partnership with New York-based creative studio Mythology, whose clients include the likes of Peloton, Tesla, Google and Warby Parker.
Vashi said its signature state-of-the-art workshop will serve as the beating heart of the 4,500 square foot space and will enable customers to become part of the process for creating their jewellery items.
Customers will be able to watch casting in-house, where 100% recycled precious metals will be melted in furnaces that reach almost 2,000 degrees celsius, or work with the brand’s designers to create a one-of-a-kind piece that will be brought to life with 3D modelling. The brand also offers an engraving service.
The new store will be the seventh location in Vashi’s portfolio.
Vashi Dominguez, founder, chairman and chief executive of Vashi, said: “This year has been enormous for Vashi, and I am thrilled to announce the opening of our newest flagship in 2022. We are creating a space on Old Bond Street where our customers can come in and instantly feel relaxed – whether they want to see diamonds up close or just have a drink at the bar. And I can’t wait to welcome them.”
