Urban Outfitters to expand in Middle East through Azadea partnership
Urban Outfitters is to expand across the Middle East through a franchise partnership with Azadea.
This will include Azadea managing the brand’s expansion programme with the first store expected to open in Dubai in 2019.
Azadea has been operating more than 50 international franchise concepts in the Middle East and Africa for 40 years and has a growing portfolio of experiential brand concepts. Urban Outfitters is expected to launch some new concepts in the region.

Azadea has a presence across 13 countries including Algeria, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Ghana, Jordan, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.
In addition to Urban Outfitters, URBN’s portfolio of retail brands includes Anthropologie, BHLDN, Free People and Terrain.
Urban Outfitters operates more than 240 stores around the world.
