Uniqlo unveils third Oxford Street store
Uniqlo has opened a third store on London’s Oxford Street next to Tottenham Court Road tube station.
With entrances on Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road, the 1,300 square metre space offers clothing for women, men and kids, as well as collaborations with JW Anderson and Clare Waight Keller.
The store will also showcase one of the largest dedicated UT sections in the UK with new and archive designs available on the first floor.
Dee Corsi, chief executive of New West End Company, said: “We are delighted to see Uniqlo open the doors to its third Oxford Street store today at the east end of Oxford Street – an area which has been bolstered in the last twelve months by the presence of best-in-class retail, leisure and office facilities, and a bustling Elizabeth Line connection at Tottenham Court Road.
“Oxford Street is undergoing a once-in-generation transformation, and the continued investment in the street by global brands such as Uniqlo is testament to its enduring commercial appeal.”
The opening of the London store will be followed by the launch of a new shop on Edinburgh’s Princes Street on 25 April. This will take the total number of Uniqlo stores to 19 in the UK.
Alessandro Dudech, chief operating officer of Uniqlo UK, said: “This is a very exciting time for the Uniqlo UK business and we are excited to bring Life Wear to both new and existing customers in an iconic location within London.”
