Uniqlo to open first store in Hanoi
Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo is to launch its first store in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi this week.
Due to open on 6 March, the Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach shop will span two levels and sell the brand’s range of LifeWear for men, women and kids.
The launch will be supported by the retailer’s Elevate Everyday campaign featuring a range of local personalities who have helped to shape the city’s contemporary culture.
Osamu Ikezoe, Uniqlo chief operating officer, said: “We look forward to opening our first store in Hanoi next month. We have deepened our knowledge of this great city and people to be able to deliver a very special store experience for both local customers and international visitors. UNIQLO Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach will feature collaborations with local artists and innovators to reflect Hanoi’s unique character and long history. It will be one of the largest UNIQLO stores in Southeast Asia.”
