Tumi appoints new VP for Asia Pacific and Middle East
The Tumi travel accessories brand has appointed Aris Maroulis as its new vice president for its Asia Pacific and Middle East region.
With 25 years’ experience of working in Asia, Europe and the US, Maroulis previously worked with Hang Lung Properties for four years as director of its China business operation and asset management. While there, he oversaw a portfolio of luxury shopping malls in mainland China.
Prior to that, he was managing director for Montblanc China and also worked as country director, China at Folli Follie Group.
In his new role, he will be responsible for building the Tumi brand, overseeing operations, and managing overall business in the region. He will report directly to Subrata Dutta, Tumi president – Asia-Pacific and Middle East, Samsonite.
