Tommy Hilfiger to join the line-up at Manchester Arndale

Luxury fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger is to open a new  3,313 square foot store at Manchester Arndale this month.

The shop will offer the brand’s autumn 2021 range of apparel, footwear and accessories for women and men.

Designed to reflect the  brand’s ‘Tommy on the Move’ concept, the store will feature stacked cardboard ‘moving boxes’, logo taping and neon signs against a clean, white backdrop with red, white and blue colour-block accents.

It will also offer services such as click-and-collect, online returns in-store and in-store shopping with at-home delivery, as well as find-in-store feature where customers identify the nearest store, check stock levels and geo-locate any product.

The arrival of Tommy Hilfiger follows the announcement that UK fashion brands Kurt Geiger and sister company Carvela have taken a combined 4,642 square feet worth of space at the centre.

Colin Flinn, non-executive director, and spokesperson for Manchester Arndale, said: “Our goal is to ensure that Manchester Arndale continues to retain its status as the home of leading fashion brands so that it remains an exciting and progressive place for all of our customers to visit. The arrival of Tommy Hilfiger helps strengthens our position as the premier shopping destination in the North West, especially coming off the back of recent lettings to a number of other popular high-end retail brands.”

Manchester Arndale welcomes over 42 million visitors in an average year and is home to more than 200 shops and restaurants.

Flinn added: “As we continue to move out of the pandemic, we are delighted to see shoppers returning to Manchester Arndale. We look forward to sharing more exciting news about other new occupiers in the months to come as we continue to widen our base of occupiers, bringing in a diverse set of retailers alongside leisure and lifestyle operators, supported by a wide-ranging food and beverage offer.”
