Tommy Hilfiger hires Michael Scheiner as chief marketing officer
Tommy Hilfiger has appointed Michael Scheiner as chief marketing officer for its global business.
Due take up his position on 28 October, he will join the company from Hollister where he has been working as senior vice president of global marketing.
In his new role, Scheiner will be responsible for introducing new innovative marketing strategies for Tommy Hilfiger, particularly across digital and experiential platforms.
Daniel Grieder, chief executive of Tommy Hilfiger Global & PVH Europe, said: “We are thrilled to have Michael join our world class marketing organisation, and believe he will help fuel our ongoing digital transformation, enable us to respond strategically to new disruptions, and position Tommy Hilfiger as a leader amongst its competitors.”
The appointment will see Scheiner relocate to Amsterdam to enable him to work from Tommy Hilfiger’s global headquarters.
