TK Maxx joins line-up at Glasgow’s Braehead

TK Maxx has opened a new store in Glasgow’s Braehead shopping centre just in time for the festive season.

Spanning 27,000 square feet, the shop will offer customers brands and designer labels at affordable prices across the categories of clothing, accessories, homeware and beauty.

The store is situated in a prime location on the ground floor, next to Marks & Spencer.

The news follows a host of other new signings and relocation deals at Braehead, with other recent openings including Scotland’s largest Superdrug, and stores for Sports Direct, Quiz, Poundland, Yankee Candle, and The Fragrance Shop.

Braehead is owned by property company SGS and managed by Global Mutual.

Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, said: “It is great to see TK Maxx open its doors at the centre. The new store will broaden our fashion and homeware offer, helping to keep the shopper experience fresh and compelling.

“We’ve welcomed a number of new brands and seen existing ones grow their footprint at Braehead over recent months – reflecting the continued resilience of physical retail in prime locations like our own. We’ve had a strong year at the centre overall and are optimistic about the months ahead.”
