The Regatta Group strengthens senior team
The Regatta Group has strengthened its senior leadership team with two new appointments.
Orla Flynn (pictured) joined the group in October as a replacement for David Holt as chief operating officer. Holt will be retiring from the position next summer and will become non-executive. Flynn has previously worked with Joules, Royal Mail and Boots.
In addition, Becks Deniro has been appointed as a non-executive member of the Regetta board. In her new role, she will offer advice drawn from her past experience as managing director at Dyson and currently as chief executive of Pure Electric. During her time with Dyson, she was a key driver of the brand’s move into the beauty category.
The Regatta Group chief executive Keith Black said: “We are delighted to have both Orla and Becks on board, and we will all enormously benefit from the wealth of experience they bring with them.
“This comes at a time of huge growth for the group across all channels and for all our brands. Over the last few years, we have invested close to £50 million in building state of the art IT, ecommerce and distribution systems in order to further improve our service levels and opportunities as we keep up with increased demand for our products.
“This is a very exciting time as we continue our 40 year plus journey and our investment in people remains the cornerstone of all our thinking.”
The Regatta Group’s brands include Regatta Great Outdoors, Dare2b, Craghoppers, Hawkshead, Regatta Professional and Tactical Threads.
