The Edit LDN founder joins Topshop as global marketing director

The Edit Ldn founder Moses Rashid has been appointed as global marketing director for the Topshop and Topman fashion brands.

In his new role, he will report to Topshop and Topman managing director Michelle Wilson and will be responsible for defining the brands’ marketing strategy, building a new awareness within global markets, re-engaging the brands with relevant audiences, and executing a plan to re-launch topshop.com.

In a post on LinkedIn, Rashid said: “I’m pleased to announce I have joined Topshop and Topman as global marketing director.

“Topshop was an institution for many of us, it was known for being innovative, rebellious and inspirational, so to be afforded this opportunity is truly exciting.”

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Rashid sold The Edit Ldn sneaker resale platform in January 2024 to Brand Alley. After a year remaining as chief executive, he announced last month that he had stepped down and exited the business.

Topshop is currently owned by ASOS and Heartland, an arm of Bestseller. Heartland acquired a 75% stake in the business from ASOS last September in a £135 million deal.
