The Children’s Place appoints new board director

The Children’s Place has appointed Tracey Griffin to its board of directors.

She will also become a member of the audit committee.

Griffin is currently the chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Framebridge, the online custom framing brand. Prior to joining Framebridge, she was chief financial officer of lifestyle retail brand Kendra Scott and is also a former chief financial officer of Pandora’s US business.

She will hold her board position at The Children’s Place until the company’s AGM in 2021.

The Children’s Place chairman Norman Matthews said: “Tracey is a proven leader with an exceptional track record in the consumer and retail industries. She brings a broad strategic and operational skillset, and significant expertise in financial matters, to The Children’s Place.  Her background, skills and experience will strengthen our Board and support our Company in the rapidly changing business environment in which we operate.”
