Ted Baker appoints David Wolffe as CFO on permanent basis
Ted Baker has appointed David Wolffe as its new chief financial officer on a permanent basis after hiring him for the role on a interim basis in January.
His appointment means he has now joined the Ted Baker board.
With over twenty years’ experience in finance roles, Wolffe’s past positions include group chief financial officer at HMV, finance director at ITV Studios, chief financial officer at AOL Europe, and finance director at BBC Magazines and Consumer Publishing.
Since joining Ted Baker, Wolffe has worked on a range of financial initiatives including the sale and leaseback of the retailer’s Ugly Brown Building headquarters.
Rachel Osborne, Ted Baker chief executive, said: “We are delighted to welcome David on board on a permanent basis, following a thorough process, in addition to the capability we have seen him display in recent months.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed working closely alongside him since the start of the year and David has quickly gripped the issues inside the business and developed solutions to put things right. I look forward to his continued significant contribution to the leadership team, as we work together to return Ted Baker to profitable growth.”
