Ted Baker appoints global creative director
Ted Baker has announced that Anthony Cuthbertson is to join the fashion retailer in the newly created role of global creative director.
Due to take up his position later this year, he will be responsible for all brand, product, store and creative design strategy.
Cuthbertson is currently working with Topshop as global design director. Prior to that, he worked in design and creative director roles at Robert Cavalli and Sasse and Bide.
Michael Bastion will remain in the role of interim creative officer until Cuthbertson’s start date.
Ted Baker chief executive Rachel Osborne said: “We look forward to welcoming Anthony, whose experience at a number of high profile brands has given him an excellent understanding of what it takes to amplify a brand and make it more relevant.
“His experience will be particularly valuable as Ted Baker sets out to expand its product and its relevance, a crucial part of its strategy to return Ted Baker to profitable growth.”
