Tapestry makes two new appointments to its board
Tapestry, the parent company of Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman, has appointed Kevin Hourican and David Elkins to its board of directors.
Hourican is the president and chief executive of Sysco Corporation while Elkins is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Bristol Myers Squibb.
Prior to Sysco, Hourican was executive vice president of CVS Health Corporation and president of CVS Pharmacy where he oversaw an $85 billion retail business, including 9,900 retail stores and over 200,000 employees. Prior to that, he held executive leadership roles at Macy’s, including regional director of stores, where he was responsible for the management of 110 department stores in the US Mid-Atlantic region.
Meanwhile, Elkins has been working with Bristol Myers Squibb following the company’s acquisition of Celgene where he was chief financial officer. Prior to that, he served as chief financial officer for Johnson & Johnson’s consumer products, medical devices, and corporate functions. and has also previously worked with AstraZeneca.
