Tapestry appoints new board member
Tapestry, the parent company of Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman, has appointed Alan Lau to its board of directors.
Lau is currently working as chief business officer at Animoca Brands where he oversees and provides support to the company’s 340 portfolio companies and leads M&A and business development.
Prior to joining Animoca Brands in 2022, he was chairman and chief executive of Tencent WeSure, a fintech company that he co-founded to offer disruptive, affordable Internet insurance to WeChat users. Prior to that, he was Asia head for McKinsey Digital where he supported big tech companies in the execution of their digital strategy.
