Sweaty Betty hires Kerry Williams as chief marketing officer
Women’s activewear brand Sweaty Betty has hired former England and Great Britain international hockey player Kerry Williams as chief marketing officer.
Possessing 14 years of marketing leadership experience in the sports sector, she most recently served as chief marketing officer of Myzone Group, a connected fitness and wearable tech brand.
Prior to that, Williams held the same role at Gymspin/Herd Brands and also worked for more than a decade at Nike in a variety of leadership roles. This included working with Nike Global Football where she held a consumer-focused marketing leadership role for multiple England National Team Campaign launches and the UEFA Women’s Championships.
When playing international hockey, Williams gained 96 caps and medals from the World Cup, Commonwealth Games and European Championships.
She is also a trustee of Badu Sports, a charity that strives to empower young people and their families through sports and mentoring.
