Sunspel joins line-up in Covent Garden

Sunspel is to open its eighth London store today in Covent Garden’s Floral Street.

The move follows the menswear brand’s launch of a new site in Jermyn Street at the end of last year and the opening of four new stores across North America in the last 18 months.

Spanning 850 square feet, the store stocks the brand’s full menswear collection, including its  Riviera Polo Shirt, worn by Bond, and the Sunspel Classic T-shirt that is handmade in its Long Eaton factory.

Raul Verdicchi, chief executive of Sunspel, said: “We’re very pleased to be opening on Floral Street, in the heart of Covent Garden.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

“It’s a well-known destination with a truly international audience, and an ideal location for Sunspel.

“This is part of a wider strategy to strengthen our retail presence – relocating and modernising our stores, as we’ve done recently with Jermyn Street, while also expanding internationally with new openings in the US.”
