Strathberry upsizes and relocates within Covent Garden
Strathberry has relocated and upsized its store in London’s Covent Garden.
Following the success of its debut shop in the location, the Edinburgh based luxury leather goods brand has doubled the size of its Covent Garden Market Building boutique to around 1,200 square feet.
The move means it is able to expand its offering of exclusive products, signature bags and range of luxury accessories, all of which can be personalised with embossing on-site.
Strathberry is currently stocked in over 90 doors globally and operates three standalone stores, of which Covent Garden is the largest. The brand has also opened a new office alongside the new store.
Guy and Leeanne Hundleby of Strathberry, said: “We’ve truly enjoyed being part of such a vibrant area of London over the past couple of years and, by unveiling this beautiful new boutique, we are excited to enter this exciting next chapter of our journey.
“The new Covent Garden location will become the home of Strathberry in London – both a space where our customers can experience the craftsmanship of our products in person and a London hub for our growing team”.
Strathberry’s former store has been taken on by luxury British lifestyle band, Aspinal, which has recently signed for the 250 square foot Market Building space.
William Oliver, retail leasing director at Shaftesbury Capital, said: “Shaftesbury Capital takes great pride in the collaborative, long-term relationships we foster with our partners, and Strathberry’s decision to not only significantly upsize their store, but to also open their new London office in Covent Garden, is testament to this.
“It’s extremely rewarding to see our partners go from strength to strength within the destination and continue to deepen their commitment to the area.”
