Stance chooses Carnaby for new flagship store
Sock brand Stance has opened a new flagship store in London’s West End.
Situated at 45 Carnaby Street, the 800 square foot space will sell the US brand’s latest collections and brand collaborations. This will include an exclusive Carnaby design for the store.
Founded 10 years ago, the brand continues to champion its ‘Punks & Poets’ group of cultural influencers. This includes a range of artists, athletes, stylists and performers who will host in-store events and meet and greets.
Rich Philip, marketing director at Stance, said: “We have had some great success in the West End and Carnaby was the natural next step for us, sitting alongside some of the most iconic brands and retailers in London. We’re planning on using the store to help us celebrate creativity with artist workshops, experiential events and Punk and Poet signings. We will also showcase our latest collections of underwear and t-shirts, brand collaborations and some exciting Carnaby exclusives.”
Other brands to join the Carnaby line-up in recent months include Samsøe & Samsøe, Ralph Lauren’s RRL and RÆBURN. In addition, Liars & Lovers and Timberland are both planning to launch new stores on Carnaby Street.
Samantha Bain-Mollison, head of retail at Shaftesbury, said: “We are excited that Stance has opened in Carnaby. The brand’s creative and experimental style of retail fits perfectly in Carnaby and is a welcome addition to the iconic street.”
