SportsShoes.com sees international sales surge by 22%


SportsShoes.com
has posted a 22% increase in first half international sales after seeing a 17% uplift in new customers in Europe.

Overseas customer orders were also up, growing by 18% in the six-month period to the end of August.

SportsShoes.com has international websites in France, Germany, Italy and Spain and is targeting further growth in new markets such as Poland, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and  the Nordics.

Established in 1982, the Bradford based company offers more than 17,000 products from 150 global running brands including the likes of Asics, Nike, Adidas, Hoka, New Balance and Brooks. Outdoor brands include Salomon, Montane, Rab and Patagonia.

 SportsShoes.com managing director, Brett Bannister said: “We have an established reputation within the UK marketplace as the premium online retail brand in our space.

 “There is a clear opportunity for us to do the same in Europe and beyond, and these latest sales and customer acquisition numbers show our international expansion strategy is having a positive impact.”
