Sosandar full year results to be in line with expectations
Online women’s fashion retailer Sosandar expects to report full year revenue growth comfortably in line with market expectations, with an uplift of 228% to £4.44 million.
In a statement, the company said its loss for the year to 31 March was also set to be in line with expectations and that trading in its fourth quarter had been strong.
During the fourth quarter, the company’s controlled acquisition spending was 62% less than in the previous period as marketing funds we re-invested into the peak seasonal months of April to June.
Sosandar atrributed the revenue growth to a growing product range and the continued success of its content and data driven marketing strategy.
Ali Hall and Julie Lavington, joint chief executives of Sosandar, said: “We are delighted to be reporting a year of substantial growth across all our key metrics including revenue, orders and new customers. This has been reflected in market expectations which have been upgraded twice during the year and we have now built a strong foundation on which Sosandar can continue to grow as a brand, providing our underserved market with quality, affordable clothing.”
The year saw Sosandar increase its number of new customers by 131% to 46,914. Meanwhile, the number of orders climbed by 224% to 102,742 as repeat orders rose by 389% to 55,828.
