Sloane Stanley welcomes seasonal pop-ups to King’s Road
Sloane Stanley has seen two seasonal pop-ups join the line-up on London’s King’s Road.
Luxury women’s clothing brand Guinea has launched a pop-up at 336 King’s Road for the second year running, while artist Lotta Camilla Teale is showing her first solo in-person art exhibition at 340 King’s Road.
Spanning 1,298 square feet, Guinea’s store offers the brand’s ‘London to Country’ apparel with items ranging from tailored coats and jackets to tops and blouses. With the collection’s strong focus on sustainability, the brand complements previous Sloane Stanley initiatives, including the Sustainable Pop-Up, which took residency at 320 King’s Road in August 2020.
Judith Cutting, founder and creative director of Guinea, said: “Following the success of our previous pop-up with Sloane Stanley its fantastic to be back on the Kings Road and in a bricks and mortar store. Having shopped on the King’s Road for years, its holistic offering and community atmosphere makes it a fabulous destination for our new seasonal pop-up, and we look forward to continuing to offer luxury clothing with a distinctly British feel throughout October to such a diverse and engaged consumer.”
The news of follows the successful completion of Georgina Potter’s and Sarah Manolescue’s joint pop-up exhibition of 80 new works at 340 King’s Road last week.
Hannah Grievson, property director at Sloane Stanley, said: “Both Lotta’s contemporary art pop-up and Guinea’s premium fashion offering are perfect examples of our successful approach to flexible leases which enable our visitors to enjoy a seasonally appropriate offer, and we’re thrilled that they are joining us. The launch of these brands evidences our commitment to welcoming innovative and creative concepts to the King’s Road and Fulham Road. Both Guinea, and Lotta will continue to provide our shoppers with diverse and unique brands for the upcoming winter months.”
