Simon Carter flagship to open at Connaught Village

Simon Carter has chosen London’s Connaught Street for the opening of its biggest store to date.

Split across two floors with a combined size of 1,049 square feet, the space will feature a traditional retail store on the ground floor and a wholesale showroom in the basement which will operate on an appointment basis.

The shop will be fifth site for the luxury menswear brand following previous openings in Mayfair, Blackheath, Crystal Palace and Chiswick.

Simon Carter, founder and chief executive of the brand, said: “I’m delighted to be opening my new flagship shop
on Connaught Street, in the heart of London’s historic Connaught Village. It will give me an opportunity to showcase my brand and my full collection of menswear and accessories. As a heritage brand with a strong London heritage, this is the perfect location with it’s mix of individual and unique shops and restaurants.”

The Church Commissioners are set to make more announcements over the coming months regarding new signings, pop-ups and virtual events at Connaught Village.

James Parker, assistant manager – commercial real estate, added: “We are really excited to welcome Simon Carter to Connaught Village as the latest addition to our growing line-up of independent brands with unique offerings. Simon Carter are a distinctly British brand, with a quirky eccentricity and have an excellent track record for operating out of similar locations across London.”
