Shoe Zone finance director leaves the business
Footwear retailer Shoe Zone has announced that its finance director Peter Foot has stepped down after seven months in the role.
The company has now begun a search for his successor.
In a brief statement, Shoe Zone said: “Shoe Zone announces that Peter Foot, its finance director, has left the business with immediate effect. The board has started the search for a replacement and a further announcement will be made in due course once an appointment has been made. Peter’s departure will not have any impact on the company’s year end results, to be announced on 8 March 2021.”
Foot joined the business in July 2020 as the successor to Jonathan Fearn. He had previously held the same role at Shoe Zone from 1996 to 1998 after working with Price Waterhouse, Sears Sports and Leisure and Stead & Simpson.
