Selfridges celebrates The Rolling Stones with The Corner Shop
Selfridges is to honour The Rolling Stones and celebrate their 2018 ‘No Filter’ UK tour with a bespoke installation in its Corner Shop retail concept.
With the installation curated by The Rolling Stones and Bravado, Universal Music Group’s merchandise and brand management company, Rolling Stones @ Selfridges will see Corner Shop transformed into an immersive shopping experience featuring a display of hand-picked selections of the band’s stage outfits from the 1970s through to the more recent ‘50 And Counting’ tour.
It will also include a first-look at the band’s first ever vinyl box set, a chance to re-live the historic Havana Moon concert and an opportunity to shop exclusive and limited-edition pieces.
Selfridges and Bravado will be giving the iconic red Rolling Stones tongue a makeover by introducing a range of ‘Yellow Label’ apparel including t-shirts, hoodies and jackets along with a dedicated kidswear collection. As the Stones 2018 tour approaches, fans will be able to shop official NO FILTER merchandise and new clothing and accessories including exclusive collaborations and one-of-a-kind pieces.
The Rolling Stones’ first-ever vinyl box set featuring every studio album from Sticky Fingers onwards, remastered, cut at half-speed and pressed on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl, will also be on display for fans to see for the very first time and pre-order before it goes on sale on 15 June.
The installation will run from 14 May to 3 June with collections available in Selfridges stores in London, Birmingham, Manchester Exchange and Trafford.
