Secret Sales hires Leon Shepherd as chief technology officer
Secret Sales, the non-full price marketplace for fashion and beauty, has appointed Leon Shepherd as chief technology officer as it looks ahead to future growth.
Shepherd has joined the company from Ted Baker where he was chief information officer and digital strategy director. Prior to that, he held senior IT and ecommerce roles at Jack Wills, FatFace, Marks & Spencer and Vodafone.
In his new position, Shepherd will be responsible for enhancing Secret Sales’ integrated technology stack to deliver a seamless next-generation marketplace platform for brands, retailers and consumers.
He will also lead the implementation of company’s new website using Progressive Web App technologies.

Since 2021, Secret Sales has launched in two new international territories and increased its inventory value by 125% year-on-year. It has now set its sights on 12 new European territories.
