Salvatore Ferragamo appoints British designer as creative director

Luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo has appointed British designer Paul Andrew as the creative director of the Salvatore Ferragamo brand.

Having joined the business in September 2016 as women’s footwear director, Andrew was promoted a year later to the role of women’s creative director.

In his new position, he will be responsible for all design functions across the brand.

Following the promotion, Guillaume Meilland will remain as men’s ready-to-wear design director, but will be given the additional responsibilities of studio director where he will co-ordinate the development of all product categories under Andrew’s leadership.

Andrew’s previous roles have included working with DKNY, Calvin Klein and Narciso Rodriguez.
