Saint + Sofia chooses Covent Garden for first physical store
The Saint + Sofia contemporary womenswear brand has chosen London’s Covent Garden for the opening of its first physical store.
The 1,600 square foot flagship at 35 Monmouth Street in Seven Dials has been designed to offer an intimate boutique shopping experience.
It stocks a selection of the brand’s womenswear and accessories, including handbags and footwear. It will also offer special previews of new collections and some products that are exclusive to the store. In addition, customers will be able to book personal styling sessions and attend a range of events.
Developed by Saint + Sofia’s in-house creative team, the interior takes inspiration from neo-classical décor with the space featuring pieces from Clarendon Fine Art and furniture from Soho Home.
Dessislava Bell chief executive and founder of Saint + Sofia, said: “We’re so excited to offer our customers, both new and existing, a memorable experience in-store delivered by our team of expert stylists.
“After four years of offering this experience online, we’re so thrilled to be able to open a physical space in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials, which is one of the most exciting retail locations in Europe.”
Seven Dials has also recently welcomed Axel Arigato to its line-up, as well as a new concept store from Barbour and menswear retailer NN.07’s first standalone space.
William Oliver, retail leasing director at Shaftesbury Capital, said: “Saint + Sofia is the latest example of an innovative digitally native brand choosing this neighbourhood for their debut UK physical store.
“We are committed to evolving the neighbourhood’s offer, partnering with independent and global brands that are making their bricks and mortar debuts.
“Each is unique in offer but come together as a collective to represent the innovative vision we have for the destination.”
