Russell & Bromley to return to Southampton
Footwear retailer Russell & Bromley is to make a return to Southampton by opening a new store at the Westquay shopping centre.
Due to open in May, the new 219 square metre store will offer a full range of luxury footwear and handbags for women and men and will sit alongside John Lewis and Dune on the lower floor of the centre.
Iain Mitchell, UK commercial director at Hammerson, said: “We are delighted to have secured Russell & Bromley for the centre as the brand makes its return to Southampton, a very fitting addition to the strong retail line-up at Westquay. This signing is testament to the appeal of the both the city and the scheme itself, which has succeeded in attracting a great mix of aspirational and high street brands in recent years.”
Other international retailers at Westquay include the likes of Victoria’s Secret, Superdry and Timberland. The centre’s adjacent dining and leisure development completed earlier this year introduced 20 new restaurants to Southampton, including Wahaca, Red Dog Saloon and Franco Manca.
