River Island expands take-back scheme

Fashion retailer River Island is to expand its take-back scheme as part of its collaboration with Reskinned.

The retailer introduced the service with the repair and resale specialist in April last year in 25 stores.

The scheme enables customers to return up to 10kg of clothing in return for a £5 gift voucher which they can spend in-store or online for purchases over £40.

The retailer will also be introducing a series of fashion upcycling workshops, with the first taking place at its Marble Arch store on the weekend of 18 to 19 February to coincide with London Fashion week.

Other workshops are planned for River Island’s Liverpool Church Street and Lakeside stores on 22 and 23 February respectively.
