Swiss luxury goods group Richemont has announced that its chief technology officer has left the business.
In a statement, the company said Jean-Jacques Van Oosten has stepped down from its senior executive committee for personal reasons.
It added: “We respect Dr Jean-Jacques Van Oosten’s decision to pursue his career outside the group and wish him every success in his future endeavours.”
Richemont’s portfolio of brands includes the likes of Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Alfred Dunhill, Azzedine Alaïa, Chloé, Lancel and Montblanc. It also owns a 49% stake in Yoox Net-A-Porter.
Van Oosten joined Richemont in January and is also chief digital officer and chief executive of Rewe Digital.
His previous roles include chief information officer at Travis Perkins and chief information officer and non-food change director at Tesco.
