Reserved to open new stores in UK and Europe

Fashion brand Reserved is on the expansion trail with plans to open a tranche of new stores in the UK and Europe by the end of the year.

According to The Times, the Polish business is aiming to launch two London stores at the Brent Cross and Westfield Stratford shopping centres and is in talks about extending its reach to Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle. Reserved has already announced that it will be opening a second store in London’s Oxford Street this year.

The retailer’s expansion plans also include opening a further 400 shops in Europe.

Founded in 1999, Reserved is part of LLP Group and has around 460 stores around the world in 40 markets. It opened its first UK store on London’s Oxford Street in 2017.

LLP chief financial officer Przemyslaw Lutkiewicz told the newspaper that the company has gained lots of experience from its store in London’s Oxford Street and feels it can fill a gap in the market at a time when some big retailers have been scaling back. He added: “We hope we can fill that Topshop-shaped hold on the high street.”
