Reserved supports emerging design talent
Polish fashion brand Reserved has renewed its commitment to nurturing international design talent by being a headline sponsor of London College of Fashion’s BA18 graduation showcase.
From 4 to 7 June, final year BA students across design, technology, media and communications courses had the chance to impress a select group of media and industry figures before putting their work on display to the public at an immersive event in East London’s Oval Space.
Reserved has also awarded two final year design students six-month work placements at its design studios in Warsaw and Gdansk. In Kwan Li and Soorhee Rhee will take up their roles after graduating this month and will work alongside Reserved’s design director Sho Kondo. Both students also received £10,000 towards the development of their final collections.
Marek Piechocki, chief executive of Reserved owner LPP SA, said: “London is a global city that the retail industry and consumers alike look to for inspiration – so partnering with London College of Fashion to support its BA18 showcase was an easy decision. I am already excited to see what new talent we are able to work with in future years.”
Reserved launched in the UK in September 2017 with a 32,000 square foot store on London’s Oxford Street.
