Rapport London expands in US

Luxury watch brand Rapport London has confirmed that it has embarked on a rapid expansion in the US.

The fourth generation family business has recently opened a logistics and distribution centre in New Jersey to service a growing number of customers, which include Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, premium watch retailers such as Tourneau-Bucherer, London Jewelers and online retailers RapportĀ USA, Mr Porter, Farfetch and Hodinkee.

Rapport’s range includes automatic watch winders and accessories catering to luxury watch collectors, pocket watches, and premium leather and wooden gifts. The brand also produces a range of specialty trunks designed to house watch winders, jewellery and specialty accessories.

Founded in 1898 by Maurice Rapport at the age of 20, the company is now led by Maurice’s grandson Derek Rapport, who is chairman. Other family members serving as directors in the business include Oliver Rapport, who is also a grandson of Maurice, and Katie Goldblatt, Maurice’s great-granddaughter.
