Ralph & Russo enters administration
British fashion brand Ralph & Russo has been placed into adminstration after it suffered a drop in sales due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Established in London in 2010 by Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, the brand offers both haute couture and ready- to-wear garments and designed the Duchess of Sussex’s engagement dress.
In a statement on Facebook, Ralph & Russo said: “It is with sadness the we announce Ralph & Russo has today been placed into administration.
“The difficult decision to appoint administrators has been taken in order to assist in the restructuring of the business after the retail economy across the world has been badly hit by the financial downturn caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim is to restructure the company to ensure its ongoing success.
“It is our intention that the business will continue to operate throughout this process, and the company remains fully committed to supporting its incredibly loyal global clientele and staff as it transitions through this period.”
Ralph & Russo operates boutiques in London, Paris, Monte Carlo, Doha, Dubai, Miami and New York.
