Ralph Lauren hires new talent to help drive digital expansion

Ralph Lauren Corporation has made a number of senior appointments within its ecommerce team as it looks to drive expansion of its worldwide digital presence.

Alice Delahunt will join Ralph Lauren in the newly created role of chief digital officer, reporting directly to Patrice Louvet, Ralph Lauren chief executive.

Due to take up her position in April, Delahunt will be part of the company’s executive leadership team and will be responsible for elevating its global digital platforms and enhancing the digital experience for consumers.

Having begun her career at JWT London, Delahunt was most recently director of digital marketing at Burberry.

Louvet said: “We are moving urgently to expand our digital presence all over the world and bringing in the right senior talent to help us deliver. We have to meet consumers where they are, which is increasingly online, and digital expansion is one critical way we will drive new growth for our iconic business and brand.”

The company has also appointed new senior leaders to support its evolution across ecommerce in North America and internationally.

Laura Porco has been hired as senior vice president, ecommerce for Ralph Lauren North America while Galen Hardy will take on the role of senior vice president, Club Monaco ecommerce and business operations.

In a final appointment, Valeria Juarez will assume the role of senior vice president, ecommerce, international.
