QUIZ achieves strong full year growth
QUIZ, the fast fashion womenswear brand, has increased its revenue by 30% to £116.4 million in the year ended 31 March.
When £4.4 million of non-recurring wholesale revenue was excluded, revenues climbed by 36%.
Revenue in its UK stores and concessions was up 12% to £64.6 million. Online revenue grew by 158% to £30.6 million as Quiz benefited from more effective marketing spend undertaken during the year and the widening of its product range to include bridalwear and its Curve range.
Meanwhile, international sales were up 4% to £21.2 million as the retailer opened new standalone stores in Spain and Ireland as well as new franchise stores across its established markets.
The company said sales growth through third party websites had been “very strong”.
QUIZ opened five new standalone stores and seven new concessions in the year.
Tarak Ramzan, QUIZ chief executive, said: “We are delighted to have successfully completed our first financial year since our IPO in July. This strong performance reflects the growing strength of the QUIZ brand and the continued growth across each of our sales channels and target markets.
“We are confident that the QUIZ brand’s distinct USP, strong customer connection and fast-fashion credentials provides a strong foundation for delivering future growth.”
