Pure Fashions to join line-up at Manchester Arndale

Pure Fashions is to join the line-up at Manchester Arndale after signing for a 3,709 square foot store.

The site will be the retailer’s third UK outlet and will sell its range of accessories for winter and some summer options.

Steve Moore, Pure Fashions’ retail director, said: “We are excited to enter the scheme at such an important time for retail we consider this scheme the number one in the city we offer carefully selected product and a high level of service. The centre and landlords’ staff have been fabulous in enabling this.”

The news coincides with Nandos and House of CB renewing their leases at Manchester Arndale. While Nandos has signed a five-year lease for its 5,037 square foot unit, womenswear brand House of CB has extended its lease on its 1,436 square foot store for a further three years.

Meanwhile, footwear retailer Office has agreed a five-year lease re-gear for its 3,121 square foot store.

Scott Linard, portfolio director at M&G Real Estate, said: “We are continuing to ensure Manchester Arndale provides a diverse tenant mix to maintain its place as the leading retail destination in North West. We are therefore delighted to be expanding our fashion accessories offering with the arrival of Pure Fashions.

“We are equally pleased that Nandos, House of CB and Office have committed their futures to the centre by agreeing new leases. Pure Fashion’s arrival, Office’s re-gear and the lease renewals from Nandos and House of CB allows us to consolidate our exciting mix of F&B outlets, leisure operators, and fashion brands.”

Last month, Manchester Arndale announced that it had reached 95% retail occupancy following the arrival of dessert chain Creams Cafe. Over the past 12 months the centre has welcomed fashion operators Debenhams.com, Tommy Hilfiger and Kick Game, as well as F&B outlets Slim Chickens, Tim Hortons, Pizza Luxe and Kokoro.

Linard added: “A well-rounded retail experience is becoming increasingly important for shoppers and, with such an extensive offering, it’s no surprise that Manchester Arndale is the go-to place in the North West, and we look forward to sharing further exciting updates on more new arrivals in due course.”
