Prada opens flagship Dubai store

Prada has opened a new flagship store in Dubai at The Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue.

The new shop will be one of the luxury fashion brand’s most important stores in the Middle East.

Spanning nearly 1,550 square metres over three floors, the shop stocks Prada’s collections of clothing, bags, accessories and footwear for women and men.

While the ground floor is dedicated to women’s leather goods and footwear, the mezzanine houses women’s clothing, the brand’s women’s Made to Order service and an exclusive collection of eveningwear. With this level being the most private of spaces in the store, the biggest rooms feature leather-lined walls in shades of green, while other rooms are covered in green silk fabric or feature a floral motif on a silk jacquard fabric.

Meanwhile, the top floor is home to leather goods, footwear and clothing collections for men and the Made to Measure and Made to Order services. The space is characterised by boiserie interspersed with green marble shelves, and chairs by Giò Ponti in exclusive re-editions.

The principal space, which houses a special selection of lifestyle products for women and men, features a large window that overlooks the city, and big colourful tables and wooden sofas by the Brazilian designer Jorge Zalszupin.
