Phase Eight to open largest store to date
Women’s fashion retailer Phase Eight is to open its biggest store to date later this week.
Due to launch on 2 February, the new 260 square metre space at Cribbs Causeway will be 165% larger than the retailer’s previous store in the centre where it has traded since 2008. Featuring a new store concept, it will include a dedicated VIP fitting room that will be used for complementary personal styling appointments.
The shop will showcase Phase Eight’s latest event and ready-to-wear collections in sizes 6 to 26 as well as a range of shoes and accessories. It will also stock the retailer’s petite line, limited-edition ranges such as bridal and the black-tie Collection 8, and the newly launched Phase Eight childrenswear range.
Caraline Money, group retail director at Phase Eight, said: “We are proud to be opening our largest store to date in Cribbs Causeway, a centre we have successfully traded in for the past 16 years. The new space will allow us to showcase our full range, including our limited-edition collections, which were not available in the previous store. The retail team are excited to welcome both returning and new customers to our stunning new store.”
The move forms the latest stage of Phase Eight’s retail expansion strategy which launched last year with 13 stores across the UK and Europe. The retailer is also planning to open new stores in key locations such as Bluewater, Kingston, Edinburgh, Blanchardstown, and Hamburg in 2024.
Deb Jones, centre director at Cribbs Mall, said: “We are delighted that Phase Eight has expanded its presence at Cribbs Mall and has chosen the centre for its new flagship store. Phase Eight has been extremely popular with our shoppers over the past 16 years and their new innovative space further enhances Cribbs Mall’s reputation as the home of fashion brands in the West Country.”
