Phase Eight offers in-store personal stylist service
Women’s fashion retailer Phase Eight has begun offering in-store personal styling appointments for shoppers.
Registered customers are able to pre-book a 60–minute slot at a selected store via the retailer’s website. When booking, they are also asked to provide Phase Eight with information about their requirements to enable store staff to prepare for their visit and ensure the relevant products are available for purchase.
Simon Pickering, managing director at Phase Eight, said: “Thanks to the convenience of Personal Stylist, our customers are a click away from booking a store appointment. These appointments allow us to create a seamless approach across digital and stores. It’s a great example of how digital and bricks and mortar can work together to deliver a personal shopping experience for the Phase Eight shopper.”
Phase Eight said scheduling appointments also means it can attract more shoppers into its stores while controlling the flow of people and observing social distancing requirements.
The retailer has worked with order management specialist OneStock on the project. According to OneStock’s research, average order value typically triples when customers take up in-store appointments.
